Mysa Wi-Fi setup
Connect a Mysa smart thermostat to Wi-Fi over Bluetooth, straight from your browser, without the Mysa app or a Mysa account. Your Wi-Fi password goes only to the thermostat; this page can't send anything over the internet.
Before you start
- The thermostat's screen shows the Bluetooth icon (setup mode). If it doesn't, hold both arrow buttons until the 10-second countdown ends and it restarts. If it shows a Wi-Fi icon instead, this page can't set it up.
- Supported: Mysa Baseboard Lite (tested), Mysa Baseboard V1 and V2, Mysa for In-Floor Heating and Mysa for AC.
- Coming soon: Mysa Baseboard V3, Mysa for Central HVAC and the Mysa Climate Sensor. Besides Wi-Fi, they need a credential file from Mysa's cloud that this page can't get yet. Use the Mysa app for those for now.
- Use a 2.4 GHz network with WPA2 or mixed WPA2/WPA3 security. Mysa can't join 5 GHz-only or WPA3-only networks.
- Use Chrome, Edge or Opera on a Mac, Windows PC, Chromebook or Android phone, close to the thermostat.

- connect first
3. Pair
Click Pair. The thermostat will then show a code on its screen, then try to pair with your phone/laptop. If the codes match, click Pair/Accept on your device. Sometimes takes 2-3 tries.
4. Wi-Fi
After pairing, ask the thermostat to list the Wi-Fi networks it can see.
| Network name | Signal |
|---|
Green: good (−70 dBm or stronger). Amber: weak (−71 to −79 dBm). Red: poor (−80 dBm or weaker). Signal quality is an estimate; interference can still affect reliability.
